So it’s been about 2 or 3 weeks since I’ve been dressing out of my minimised wardrobe. For those that don’t know what I’m talking about, or what #Project333, is then read my blog post here.
I have to say, it’s going very well! The major problem so far was that within the first week, we’d hit a cold snap, and I hadn’t got enough warm clothes. After all, it had been lovely up until then! However, it worked out and I was able to wear my grey coat/cardigan to keep me snug!
As I knew I would, I’ve been living in my jeans primarily. They have to be the most versatile item of clothing and are certainly a key piece in my wardrobe. The other key item has been my Converse…enough said.
The biggest benefit I’ve found so far, is that it’s so easy to choose what to wear! I know that this sounds obvious but it’s made mornings so much easier to manage. If you struggle with making decisions, picking an outfit every day can be time consuming and tiring. Having less, and being able to choose from items that coordinate with each other, is simple. It’s definitely something that I plan to continue with, and is something I would advise you give a go!
I have one small problem…..the rain has made a comeback. Normally this wouldn’t be a concern, but I’m off to Liverpool this weekend, and the forecast isn’t great. I am really going to need a raincoat of some sort!! So for now, that’s a necessary temporary addition to my wardrobe. It’s all a learning process.
As an aside, no one appears to have noticed that I am wearing the same clothes……..
